Neuronest Program

A safe space for growing minds and hearts.

Our anxiety therapy program supports kids with general anxiety, social anxiety, or panic attacks, and provides guidance for parents too.

Supporting Mental Health for
Neurodivergent Children

Whether it’s managing anxiety, navigating big emotions, or feeling misunderstood, the challenges can feel overwhelming for your child—and for you.

Your child may be coming home exhausted from trying to fit into environments that weren’t designed with their unique needs in mind. School might feel chaotic, friendships hard to navigate, or their confidence may be fading as they face daily struggles.

You’re not alone. At NeuroNest, we believe in supporting mental health for neurodivergent children through a neuroaffirming approach. Rather than trying to change who they are, we focus on enriching their abilities, helping them grow, connect, and thrive in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

Designed to Help Kids Thrive

Our program for younger children focuses on building foundational skills in a playful and supportive environment:

  • Emotional Regulation: Teaching children to identify and manage their emotions using visual aids, mindfulness activities, and sensory tools.
  • Self-Esteem Building: Strengths-based play and creative activities to foster confidence and self-worth.
  • Sensory-Rich Experiences: Multi-sensory activities tailored to individual sensory preferences, helping children feel calm and engaged.
  • Skill Development: Introducing early executive functioning skills like organization, transitions, and task management.
For Ages 11–16

For young teens, our program emphasizes independence and self-discovery:

  • Social Communication: Building authentic connections and embracing unique communication styles.
  • Positive Self-Identity: Encouraging self-advocacy and acceptance of neurodiversity.
  • Executive Functioning Skills: Tools for planning, organization, and time management.
  • Peer Relationships: Collaborative activities that foster empathy and meaningful friendships.
  • Resilience and Coping Strategies: Teaching mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and stress management.
  • Sensory Support: A calming, sensory-friendly environment tailored to teens’ needs.

Why Families Choose NeuroNest

At NeuroNest, we embrace each child’s unique perspective and neurodivergent identity. Rather than aiming to change who they are, we focus on enriching their abilities, celebrating their strengths, and providing a safe space where they feel valued for exactly who they are.

We help people with physical illnesses like heart disease and cancer by addressing both mental and physical syptoms. Using mindfulness therapy, we offer a holistic approach to boost health and emotional resilience.

Our group and individual sessions use art to help you explore emotions and experiences. This process fosters self-expression, giving uou control over your life and helping you develop personalized coping strategies

We use research-based techniques to tailor sessions, including MBAT and CBAT,(cognitive-based) to help clients manage mental health and improve their emotional well-being.
