Anxiety Programs

Therapy for kids and teens living with Anxiety

Our anxiety therapy program supports kids with general anxiety, social anxiety, or panic attacks, and provides guidance for parents too.

The truth is, when your child struggles with anxiety, you’re carrying that worry with you every single day.

It’s like carrying a heavy weight around with you every day. As parents, we deeply want our children to experience joy, calmness, and a sense of excitement about the world. When anxiety gets in the way of these simple desires, it can feel like an emotional burden you carry constantly.

You might find yourself worrying about their well-being, feeling helpless when they’re overwhelmed, or facing the frustration of not knowing how to ease their fears. It’s completely natural to feel lost and anxious yourself when things don’t seem to get better.

Dealing with anxiety in children involves navigating new challenges, learning unfamiliar skills, and seeking out support and guidance. The path can be difficult and exhausting, but you don’t have to walk it alone.

We are here to help both you and your child find relief and
build a more hopeful future together.

You might be wondering if your child is dealing with anxiety and whether this amount of worry is the reason, normal childhood or teen issues….

Fear is a very normal emotion, experienced by everyone across cultures. However, when fear turns into anxiety, it can trap our bodies in “fight, flight, or freeze” mode, making daily life harder.

Dealing with anxiety in children involves navigating new challenges, learning unfamiliar skills, and seeking out support and guidance. The path can be difficult and exhausting, but you don’t have to walk it alone.

Recognizing these challenges, we offer targeted programs for helping children with anxiety and providing parents with the tools they need to manage their child’s anxiety.

What are the symptoms of anxiety in children?

Anxiety in children may show through:

  • Excessive worry about everyday situations
  • Physical symptoms like headaches, stomachaches, or fatigue
  • Difficulty concentrating or sleeping
  • Avoidance of activities or social situations
  • Irritability or frequent emotional outbursts
  • Restlessness or being easily startled
If your child exhibits these signs, they may be experiencing anxiety. Our programs are designed to help children and teens manage these symptoms effectively. We do not assess or diagnose children, so sometimes a visit to your doctor is also a good idea for further evaluation.

At Mind 2 Heart Connections, we provide
compassionate support and effective solutions
