Do you have questions about the therapeutic process?
Your therapist?
Their training?
How they can help you?
We offer free 20 minute initial phone consultations for all new clients interested in being supported by a Mind2Heart therapist. In this call we can answer any questions you may have, hear part of your story, or discuss how long we may connect with one another.
If you decide we are a good fit for your needs, our fees for service are noted below:
All therapy sessions are a therapeutic hour consisting of 50 minutes.
Other coaching/therapeutic supports:
Please note some services are HST applicable such as art therapy, coaching or services delivered by a psychotherapist. Social Work services are HST exempt.
Cancellation Policy: We understand that sometimes life happens! If you need to cancel an appointment, let us know as soon as possible. Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours notice will not be charged.
Full session fees apply to: no show appointments (meaning appointments missed entirely, or if you show up later than 10 minutes into session).
50% session fees apply to: cancellations with less than 24 hour notice.
Telephone calls are charged at the same rate as therapy appointments if the call exceeds 10 minutes. For example, a phone call lasting 25-30 minutes is charged at half the fee for a therapy session.
Insurance Information: Insurance can be tricky as all plans are different! We encourage you to review your health benefits coverage ahead of booking your appointment. Be sure to review the amount you have covered, your coverage period, the registered health professional that your benefits will cover (ex. Social Worker, Psychotherapy etc.), how to submit for reimbursements and how long reimbursement will take.

We humbly acknowledge we in Barrie are on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Anishinaabeg people, which include the Odawa, Ojibwe, and Pottawatomi Nations collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy, and prior to the middle of 17th century the Wendat Nation and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We add our voices to the call for Truth and Reconciliation and healing for injustice. We commit to learning more so that we are able to act as good neighbours on these lands.
