Sometimes individuals and couples need a space where they can step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on what is happening beneath the surface. I work with adults and couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, conflict, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, and life transitions.
Using an empathic and non-judgmental approach, I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients can feel comfortable exploring difficult or deeply personal experiences. I support individuals and couples in gaining a better understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck.
In couples therapy and couples counselling, I work with partners who may be struggling with communication, recurring conflict, rebuilding trust, emotional connection, intimacy concerns, or significant changes within their relationship. My goal is to help couples better understand one another, strengthen communication, and develop healthier ways of connecting.
With an Honours Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Counselling Psychology from McGill University, and additional training in trauma and couples therapy, I provide a compassionate, evidence-informed approach tailored to each individual or couple.
My work with couples is informed by training in both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), which can support couples in understanding patterns of conflict, strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and deepening emotional connection.
