Navigating life can bring challenges that are difficult to manage on your own. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a supportive space to slow down, gain perspective, and reconnect with yourself.
As a parent, watching your child grow and change is one of the greatest joys of parenting, but it can also feel confusing and overwhelming at times. You want to give your child every opportunity to thrive, yet it’s not always easy to know how best to support them through challenges or big emotions. Therapy can provide a safe and supportive space for children to not only express themselves and build emotional awareness, but also to work through challenges in a way that feels natural and meaningful to them.
In my therapeutic practice, I work with adults, children, youth, and adolescents to create a warm, supportive space where you or your child can feel understood, build on strengths, and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion.
When working with adults, I take a collaborative, person-centred approach that honours your individual experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we can explore patterns that may be holding you back, develop practical strategies for managing emotions and stress, strengthen relationships, and navigate periods of change or transition. My goal is to support you in feeling more connected to yourself and better equipped to create meaningful change.
With children, I use play, creativity, and storytelling to help them explore their inner world in ways that feel safe and empowering. Together, we work toward understanding emotions and behaviours, developing coping skills, building self-esteem, navigating relationships, and moving through developmental or family transitions. I also work closely with you as parents and caregivers to provide tools and insights that support your child beyond the therapy room.
My approach blends evidence-based methods with warmth, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s individuality and pace. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and neuro-affirming practices. When working with children, I base my practice on play therapy and Theraplay® principles.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology. Throughout my professional career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages and developmental needs in clinical, school, and childcare settings. With a background in cognitive neuroscience and child development, I bring both a scientific understanding and a heartfelt, compassionate approach to my work.
